Fees and refund guidelines for non-award courses

Registration and payment

Early registration is recommended to avoid disappointment and payment must be made in full at the time of registration. Registrations will be acknowledged via the email address provided. Please keep all correspondence as confirmation of your registration. A training reminder will be sent to the email address provided one week prior to commencement of your program. Please choose your program carefully. Swinburne is not legally obliged to refund, transfer or issue a credit not if you choose the wrong course, change your mind or your circumstances change.

If you require an invoice for your organisation, a purchase order or letter of authority from your employer must be attached to your completed registration form.

Payment of program fees

There are three methods for paying program fees.

Pay online using your VISA or Mastercard via our secure internet payment gateway.

Download, complete and forward the registration form with your payment details via email to indenrolments@swin.edu.au or mail to

Swinburne Professional
Swinburne University of Technology,
Mail H69 PO Box 218
Hawthorn 3122

Phone 1800 633 560 with your VISA or Mastercard debit/credit card details from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Withdrawals and transfers

Requests to withdraw or transfer from a program must be emailed to indenrolments@swin.edu.au at least 10 days prior to commencement of the program and prior to receipt of a workshop training reminder.

A $50 processing fee will apply for withdrawals and transfers. Upon payment of this fee a transfer to the next available or an alternate workshop scheduled within the same calendar year may be organised or you may nominate a substitute person to attend. Non-attendance at a program without prior notification will result in a forfeit of fees paid.

Please choose your program carefully. Once processed your course fee will not be refunded if you change your mind or your circumstances change.

Program cancellation

Whilst we always endeavour to run all courses timetabled, sometimes a lack of enrolments may mean that the course has to be cancelled. One week prior to the course running you will receive a training reminder or a cancellation email confirming the status of this course. If you are travelling interstate to attend this program we strongly encourage you not to book travel / accommodation before receiving the training reminder.

If we have to cancel a course you will be offered a place in the next scheduled workshop or if preferred we can transfer your booking to an alternative course at no extra cost.
