Research Funding and Collaboration
With a strong national and international reputation, CS3 researchers have been very successful in attracting national and international competitive research grants and securing industry funding for collaborative research, including:
- Australian Research Council (ARC Discovery and Linkage) (some 40% of external funding)
- Industry collaborative research (CRC and contracted research) (some 60% of external funding)
The total funding for research projects and research scholarships that are current at 1 August 2008 amounts to about $5 million.
CS3 conducts research in close collaboration with industry and research partners nationally and internationally, delivering scientifically advanced and industrially relevant outcomes. CS3 is a key partner in two national flagship Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs):

- Smart Services CRC
