Dr Scott Menegon

Scott currently works in a joint industry/university position where he is a Research Fellow at Swinburne and a Senior Structural Engineer at the consulting engineering firm Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec. Scott received his BEng (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology; MEngStruct from University of Melbourne; and PhD from Swinburne University of Technology where he was the joint inaugural recipient of the prestigious Dr William Piper Brown AM scholarship. Scott is a chartered member of Engineers Australia (CPEng) and is a registered engineer on Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register (NER). Scott’s primary research interests are the design and experimental assessment of RC walls and the seismic behaviour of RC buildings in Australia and other regions of lower seismicity.
