Biography

Dr. Iqbal Hossain is working as a Lecturer at the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. He is the course director for Graduate Certificate in Infrastructure Engineering Management. He is also serving as a Water Resources Consultant at KF Engineering Pty Ltd., Melbourne, Australia. He has completed B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Moreover, he has completed his PhD in 2012 on Integrated Catchment-stream Water Quality Modelling from the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Currently, he is teaching several undergraduate and postgraduate Civil Engineering units at Swinburne University. He has been involved with various research projects including long-term seasonal rainfall forecasting, extreme rainfall prediction, sustainability, water quality modelling, water footprint estimation and bushfire modelling. He has published more than 30 peer reviewed articles in Water Resources Engineering. He is also the reviewer of several high ranked journals.
