Simon Cook

Dr Cook is an early career Research Fellow who was awarded his PhD from the University of Wollongong with a focus on molecular microbiology and bacterial pathogenesis in 2014.

Simon has since been a Chief Investigator on Project Geldom, which was a career turn instigated by a ‘Grand Challenges’ call from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for a ‘Next Generation Condom.’ Simon moved to Swinburne in 2016, where he manages R&D and continues to develop knowledge across research, industrialisation and entrepreneurial activities.

Simon is cofounder and Chief Technical Officer of Eudaemon Technologies, which is involved in bringing innovative techniques and technologies at the nexus of sexual, reproductive and mental health to market.
