Registrations for the Professional Internship program are now open.

Register your interest below and we will be in touch within 1 to 5 business days to confirm your eligibility and advise you of next steps.

Please note, Professional internships are not available to postgraduate, Open University Australia (OUA) or Swinburne Online (SOL) students. Please contact your course coordinator for information on programs available to you.

If you are an International student, you need a spare elective to undertake the program, due to visa requirements.

Fields marked with an * are mandatory.

    Are you an international student?:

Special needs, health conditions or disabilities

Are you aware of any disabilities and/or medical conditions (inclusive of psychological conditions) which may affect your ability to undertake a compulsory or optional professional internship? If yes and if you have not already done so, please notify AccessAbility Services who will determine if any other form of assistance is available to you, and advise the Professional Placements team in negotiating reasonable adjustments in the workplace if necessary.

Please note: If you fail to inform Professional Placements of any special needs, health conditions or disabilities that may affect your internship, then Swinburne reserves the right to make alternative arrangements to accommodate the reasonable requirements of the internship, industry partner or organisation, which may include altering the terms of your internship or requiring you to withdraw from the internship altogether.

    Privacy and health records

If you obtain a professional internship, you agree to Swinburne (through Professional Placements) providing relevant personal and health information to the industry partner or organisation for the purposes of facilitating your internship.

Swinburne acknowledges and respects your privacy. We collect, store, use, update, disclose and dispose of all personal information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act (Vic.) 2000, the Health Records Act (Vic.) 2001 and Swinburne's Privacy Policy.
