Make the most of your studies with an international scholarship

Excited about moving here to study? We’re just as thrilled to welcome you!

We value the vibrant contribution that international students make to our campus, culture and community. And with an international scholarship, you can focus on experiencing all that Swinburne and life in Melbourne have to offer.

This includes our Swinburne International Excellence Pathway Scholarship, which awards A$2500 to A$4000 to eligible international pathway course students who excel academically.

Up to 30 per cent off your course fees

Whether you’re applying to university for the first time or continuing your studies with a postgraduate degree, we have a wide range of international scholarships and incentive programs available.

Some scholarships – like our Swinburne Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship, Swinburne Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship and George Swinburne Postgraduate STEM Scholarship – are awarded based on the grades of your previous study, meaning the better your grades, the higher the scholarship amount.

Other scholarships are awarded based on your ability to meet the entry requirements of selected courses. Further details are available on our scholarships conditions page.

No extra application required

When you apply for a Swinburne course, we automatically consider you for an international scholarship – no separate application required! Just apply for your Swinburne course of choice and when we review your course application, we will also assess you for an international scholarship.

If your application for study is successful, you will receive an email from us. In that same email, you will find out if you have received an international scholarship. Visit our how to apply page for course application details.

You’re also welcome to apply for our general scholarships. You will need to submit a separate application if you want to apply for any of these.
