About the scholarship

Summary

The Pratt Foundation Scholarship provides financial support to an undergraduate student pursuing business studies, helping to ease the burden of education-related expenses. By reducing the need to work while studying, the scholarship enables the recipient to focus fully on their academic journey and pursue their passion for a career in business.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

Applicants must be: 

  • an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
Enrolment criteria

Applicants must:

  • be a commencing first year Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2027
  • enrolled full-time in single or double Swinburne undergraduate Business course.
Selection criteria

Applicants must have: 

  • experienced an educational disadvantage.

Personal statement

Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words addressing:

  • sound academic ability
  • a strong potential to complete the degree within the minimum time.
