This major offers in-depth skills in financial planning – giving you the knowledge to help others through economics. It covers a range of finance topics that everyday citizens need help with – including financial management, taxation, ethics, retirement planning, investments and even financial risk.
The Financial Planning major meets the educational requirements of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, ensuring you’ll learn the skills needed to enter the financial planning industry with confidence.
The Bachelor of Business with a major in Financial Planning and Bachelor of Business (Professional) with a major in Financial Planning are accredited by the Financial Planning Education Council.

The indicative course fees shown in Course Search apply to international students for the relevant year only. They are based on a standard study load per year. However, please note that fees are assessed according to a student's study load in each semester, and variation to study load will result in an adjustment to tuition fees. All fees are subject to annual review and may be adjusted.
International students in Australia who hold student visas are required to study full-time and on campus. Courses that are taught entirely online are only available to international students studying outside Australia or those in Australia who are not on a student visa. Online courses are not available to international students in Australia who hold a student visa.
Make sure you check out the available scholarships. They became a really good goal for me during Year 12 and are achievable if you put in the hard work. I also recommend coming to Open Day – you can ask questions (even silly ones!) and get answers from current students.
