Australia's First Cloud Degree endorsed by AWS Educate
The AWS Educate Cloud Degree Program is a collaboration between AWS Educate, employers, and Swinburne to prepare students for in-demand careers in cloud computing by aligning academic programs to entry-level job requirements. With a focus on real-world, applied learning experiences, AWS Educate offers learners access to self-paced content designed to introduce cloud computing technologies driving innovation in fields such as artificial intelligence, voice and facial recognition, gaming, medical advancements, and more.
Australian First Cloud Innovation Centre
The Swinburne Data for Social Good Cloud Innovation Centre, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the first-of-its-kind in the Southern Hemisphere and is part of a long-term collaboration between Swinburne and AWS. Students will undertake a Cloud Innovation Centre Challenge as part of the Associate Degree of Applied Technologies, ensuring students apply the skills and learning to real-world challenges.

How do I pay my fees?
HECS-HELP is a loan and discount scheme available to eligible students enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place. A HECS-HELP loan can cover all or part of the student contribution amount.

Entry requirements
One of:
- Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent, such as an interstate or international Year 12 qualification
- Completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees and Degrees)
VCE Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in any English (except EAL) or 30 in English as Alternate Language (EAL) or equivalent
- IELTS (Academic Module): Overall 6.0 with no individual band below 5.5
- Swinburne English Language Centre: EAP 4 Advanced level with overall 70% and all skills 65% or above
- TOEFL iBT: minimum score 75 (Reading no less than 17, Writing no less than 17)
