Unit learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
- Critically review and apply the principles of business, management and leadership within a sports physiotherapy context
- Appraise the legal ramifications of practice within sports physiotherapy context including relevant professional and ethical codes, standards of practice, and legal and industrial requirements governing practice
- Elaborate on the broader role of a sports physiotherapist within a multidisciplinary team including as an educator, communicator and advocate
- Reflect on learning needs of an advanced practitioner and the potential role of the different professional development strategies
