Unit learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
- Apply principles of practice-based evidence across multiple models of clinical reasoning within a biopsychosocial framework to inform assessment and management in sports and exercise physiotherapy
- Integrate client data, including imaging and pathology tests, in the clinical reasoning process in sports and exercise physiotherapy
- Apply principles of person‑centred care that incorporate individual perspectives, including respectful communication, reflection, advocacy, safety, and quality, to support culturally safe and inclusive management in sports and exercise physiotherapy, including care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Critically appraise the role of, and apply sports psychology principles in the assessment and management of clients in sports and exercise physiotherapy
