Fast-track your degree across Winter and Summer Terms

Studying across the Winter and Summer Terms is a great way for you to fast-track your studies or spread your study load across the whole year or catch up on a unit you need to repeat.

Whatever your reason may be, we offer a range of single units across these study periods.

If the unit you wish to study is already on your study plan, you can enrol directly by going to ‘My Enrolment’ tab under ‘Student Log-in’.

If the unit is not on your study plan, you will need to complete an amendment to enrolment form.

Applications for single unit study must be submitted four weeks prior to the commencement of the semester/study period in which the unit is being taught. (include a link to the academic calendar with the dates, if available)

Search for and find the unit you want to study. You can check which units are available in the summer and winter terms, as well as other study periods across the academic year.

To find out when other units are timetabled across the year, you can search for units by name or code. When searching for a single unit of study:

  1. Note any prerequisites for the unit.
  2. To apply for postgraduate units, as a single unit you’ll need to provide a certified copy of an applicable undergraduate degree or a current resume showing at least five years of relevant work experience.
  3. Complete and submit the Amendment to Enrolment form.

We’ll contact you to let you know if your application is successful. We’ll assign available single unit places after all Swinburne award program students have enrolled.

We may make you an offer as late as the first week of class, depending on our enrolment quotas.
