Lodge an application for a Student Laptop or iPad grant

Swinburne Student Equity provides a range of grants to Swinburne students from low socio-economic backgrounds who are experiencing significant financial hardship and are struggling to meet basic living costs. These grants have been made possible by funding provided by the Commonwealth Department of Education Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP).

All the documentation required and eligibility criteria is listed on the Laptop and iPad grant webpages.

Your application will not be considered unless you have provided all the required supporting documentation. Please ensure you have the supporting documents before you start filling in the application because there is no option to save and return to the form. The list of documents are listed on the Laptop and iPad grant webpages.

All fields in the form are mandatory, however if a question is not relevant, please enter either `Not applicable` or `0` (Zero).

Your application must be accompanied by the following documents: *

A copy of your pay slips for the last month, to verify your income

A copy of your spouse/partner’s payslips for the last month to verify their income

A copy of the most recent Centrelink payments received by you or your spouse/partner and children to children to verify your receipt of Centrelink payments and/or Centrelink Income Statement for the last month to verify their income

A copy of your existing lease agreement or rental certificate to verify your accommodation costs. If you are living in either shared accommodation or with your parent/s, relatives or guardian/s you must submit a statutory declaration detailing your rent/board payments.

A copy of your Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card or Health Care Card to receive a student concession Myki Card.

A copy of your driver’s licence, to receive petrol vouchers.

A copy of letter from AccessAbility Service stating that you are registered with them or a letter from a relevant health professional outlining your condition.
