Applications for Semester 1 2023 are now open.

Combine the adventure and excitement of travelling to another country with continuing your studies at one of our many partner universities. To apply for a semester exchange, complete these steps before the application deadlines.

Which destinations and partner universities are available?

Please note that not all destinations and partner universities will be available for Semester 2 2022.

Swinburne Abroad reserves the right to offer only particular destinations based on a range of risk management factors.

You will need to research and select second and third preference partner universities for your application.

From Finland to Philadelphia, Spain to São Paulo, India to Vienna and countless places in between, we have a reciprocal arrangement with other world-class education providers from around the globe.

If you choose to do a student exchange at one of our partners you continue to pay your regular tuition fees to Swinburne for the semester you are on exchange, but no tuition fees are payable to the host university.

Browse our partner universities listed by region to gather information about semester dates, credit arrangements, resources and courses available for exchange students.
