Swinburne Abroad program update

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation and international travel, we are not accepting applications for our semester exchange program.

Although this may be disappointing news, Swinburne Abroad is excited to offer the opportunity to give you a global experience from the comfort and safety of your own home through a range of virtual overseas programs.

Our plan to resume in-person overseas study programs is pending from restrictions around international travel. We will continue to review our programs, so please register your interest. We will keep you in the loop with any news and opportunities that will be available.

Please keep in mind that the health and safety of our students is always our first priority and we will closely monitor the situation over the coming months to ensure that programs can run safely before proceeding.

If you have any questions, please contact us at exchange@swinburne.edu.au.

From Finland to Philadelphia, Spain to São Paulo, India to Vienna and countless places in between, we have a reciprocal arrangement with other world-class education providers from around the globe.

If you choose to do a student exchange at one of our partners you continue to pay your regular tuition fees to Swinburne for the semester you are on exchange, but no tuition fees are payable to the host university.

Browse our partner universities listed by region to gather information about semester dates, credit arrangements, resources and courses available for exchange students.

Note: Danish law requires all exchange students to study full-time (completing 30 ECTS) in order to obtain a residence permit.
