Medical appointments

Contact the health service for your campus to make an appointment. 

Note: Doctors (GPs) are only available at Hawthorn campus.

You don't always need an appointment to see the campus nurse during opening hours; but you need an appointment to see a GP. 

Counselling appointments

To access counselling call our team to discuss your options. 

Open Universities Australia (OUA) students may access Swinburne counselling services but also have access to OUA's dedicated counselling service.

Swinburne Online students can also access counselling services. 

What you need to bring to appointments

You need to bring your:

  • student ID (or photo ID if you're not a student)
  • Medicare card or OSHC health insurance details
  • Centrelink Health Care Card if you have one. 

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us directly at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
