H.Squad
Learn about what this group of student health and wellbeing ambassadors can do for you.
H.Squad are Swinburne’s student health ambassadors, representing a diverse range of courses and backgrounds. This diversity ensures a wide range of student voices are heard and included. H.Squad members are equipped to educate and empower their peers, promoting positive health and wellbeing across the Swinburne community.
H.Squad creates and leads a year-round calendar of health-focused events designed to engage and empower the student community. From large on-campus events like International Women’s Day to Men’s Health Week — they’re the team behind it all.
If you see a H.Squad member out on campus (usually wearing their bright red t-shirts) please say hello! They are here to help. H.Squad’s role is to also promote the Health Service, so all Swinburne students know what services and supports are available to them whilst they are completing their studies.
Supporting Student Mental Health
It's important you know how to take charge of your mental health while studying, and what support is available to you at Swinburne.
Our H.Squad members can tell you all about our health and wellbeing workshops and events, counselling, 24/7 support line and more.
You can also learn from people's lived experiences with mental health through programs run by batyr, an organisation focused on youth storytelling.
