Pio and Marisa Iovenitti Memorial Engineering Excellence Scholarship 2027

The Pio and Marisa Iovenitti Memorial Scholarship honours Associate Professor Pio Iovenitti’s contribution to Swinburne for over 30 years and his wife Marisa’s support. Pio was a respected leader, mentor and scholar within the School of Engineering, admired for his dedication and humility.

This scholarship supports a postgraduate student in their final year of a Master of Engineering Science degree in any specialisation, continuing Pio’s legacy of excellence and commitment to education.

Applicants must be:

• an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or international resident.

Applicants must:

• a continuing second year Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2027
• be enrolled full-time in the Master of Engineering Science 
• studying on campus.

Applications will be assessed based on:

• completion of 100 credit points
• achievement of a minimum credit average from the first year of the Master of Engineering Science.

Academic transcript

Provide your academic transcript of the first year of the Master of Engineering Science.
