About the scholarship
The SNXG (Swinburne Engineering Excellence Group) scholarships, funded by Technotia Laboratories, support high-achieving engineering students at different study stages.
The program fosters peer mentoring, industry engagement, and professional growth to develop future engineering leaders.
Technotia, a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, is committed to sharing knowledge and nurturing talent through this initiative.
Three scholarships are offered: one each for second-year, third-year, and master’s students.
Value details
- Second year student: $7,500 (paid bi-annually for one year only)
- Third year student: $7,500 (paid bi-annually for one year only)
- Masters student: $10,000 (paid bi-annually for one year only)
Eligibility and selection criteria
Applicants must be:
- an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, or International student (must not hold a Swinburne International Scholarship)
Applicants must:
- be a second year, third year or masters student at Swinburne in Semester 1, 2027
- be enrolled full-time in one of the following courses:
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Professional)
Master of Engineering - have a distinction average, or higher, from the previous year of study.
Applications will be assessed based on:
- personal statement
- previous study undertaken.

- your passion for engineering, and
- how the scholarship will assist you in achieving your career aspirations and contributing to a better world.

Academic transcript
Provide an academic transcript of previous year of study.
Written reference
