CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Women in Engineering Scholarship 2027

The CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Scholarship has been established to support one high performing, female student majoring in electrical engineering.

CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy provide safe, reliable and affordable electricity supplies to over a million residential households and commercial customers across Victoria. They are passionate about supporting women to explore careers in electrical engineering. The successful recipient will be offered the opportunity to participate in a 12 week paid internship to be focussed on ‘green projects’ in the sustainability area.

Applicants must: 

• be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent resident with humanitarian visa or New Zealand citizen
• have obtained a GPA of 2.5 or higher to date
  

Applicants must be: 

• a continuing second or third year Swinburne student in Semester 1, 2027
• enrolled full-time in a Swinburne undergraduate course in one of the following areas:
  
  Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Professional) 
  
  
• studying one of the following majors:
  
  Electrical and Electronic
  

Applications will be assessed based on:

• academic results from your study at Swinburne.

Personal statement

Submit a personal statement of up to 500 words addressing:

• your interest in a career in electrical engineering and the energy and utilities industry.
