Unit learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  1. Explain the dynamics of brain development from infancy to adulthood and their influence on behaviour
  2. Identify and explain key neural mechanisms that facilitate learning and memory in educational contexts
  3. Critically analyse research in social neuroscience, focusing on its impact on understanding social behaviour
  4. Appraise contemporary research methods and findings in developmental, educational, and social neuroscience
  5. Propose and justify applications of neuroscience principles to address challenges in educational and social settings
