Unit learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
- Critically review the potential role of technology in the examination and management of musculoskeletal conditions/ injuries
- Adapt, and apply technology in the management of musculoskeletal conditions/ injuries and enhancement of performance
- Apply evidence-based principles to the development of athlete screening and return to sport programs
- Explain the role of an advanced practice physiotherapist within a multidisciplinary team in the management of musculoskeletal conditions/ injuries and enhancement of athletic performance
- Develop evidence-based strategies for the prevention of injury
