Unit learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit students will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of biomechanical principles and functional anatomy/physiology to the assessment and management of common clinical conditions in the area of sports and exercise physiotherapy
- Critically review, synthesise and apply advanced knowledge of pain sciences, physiology and pathophysiology in the assessment and management of common clinical conditions in the area of sports and exercise physiotherapy
- Integrate advanced knowledge of functional anatomy, biomechanics and physiology to help optimise sports and exercise performance
