Unit learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Evaluate how artificial intelligence applications can be used in a health setting
- Formulate decision frameworks to identify the best use of artificial intelligence for a given health question
- Design and implement an artificial intelligence solution for a health-related question, recognising limitations and ethical implications
- Critique and communicate the benefits, risks and equity implications of artificial intelligence models in health and care, including Indigenous data sovereignty, governance, digital bias, cultural safety and equitable access.
- Formulate a feasible and innovative artificial intelligence solution/outcome in response to a health-related question
