Learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Identify various types of building services and explain their functions to maintain acceptable conditions within buildings
- Comprehend the requirements for installation and commissioning of building services
- Analyse design documentation of building services and carry out on-site inspections to assess their compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Describe the functionality of building management systems (BMS) to monitor and control the operation of building services
- Analyse the sustainability status of building services and suggest strategies to improve
