The Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) (Honours) prepares you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become imaginative and advanced communication designers and researchers.

You'll develop high-end strategic and critical thinking skills informed by the latest research and practice. You'll learn how to create powerful, innovative and refined design solutions to meet the needs of the communication design industry.

Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through our embedded Industry Placement program (DES30061/DES30062) or in our student-led studio, the Bureau (DDD30039/DDD40014), which are a guaranteed part of Communication Design (Honours). You'll work on industry projects to develop your design and management skills; from client meetings and scoping projects, to speculative presentations and working to fixed deadlines and budgets.

International students in Australia who hold student visas are required to study full-time and on campus. Courses that are taught entirely online are only available to international students studying outside Australia or those in Australia who are not on a student visa. Online courses are not available to international students in Australia who hold a student visa.
