The Bachelor of Business is designed to equip you with core skills and knowledge in business, management and operations to prepare you for roles in modern organisations.

Select a major area of specialisation and combine it with your other studies to become an entrepreneurial thinker, innovator and learn to find opportunity where others cannot.

The course links theoretical and practical knowledge needed to operate effectively in diverse settings such as not-for-profits, government, small business and corporations.

Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through our Work Integrated Learning programs, which are a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees and can include placements, internships or industry-linked projects. In this degree, in the Industry Consulting Project (BSB30024), you’ll team up with other students to work on a real project briefed to you by an industry partner.

Learn about the impact of human resource management as the driver of innovation and high performance in the workplace. Gain the skills and knowledge to manage and coordinate people to achieve strategic business objectives. This major is professionally accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute.

International Business major

This major is only available in conjunction with Swinburne's offshore partner institutions FPT Vietnam and INTI Malaysia, or at Swinburne Sarawak campus. Students must start their study at one of these locations and are able to transfer to Hawthorn and complete this major onshore.
