Diploma of Business
In some, the entrepreneurial spirit runs deep. If that’s you, the Swinburne Diploma of Business is the ideal qualification to realise your dreams of starting and running your own business.
Of course, the adaptable skills and knowledge you’ll gain aren’t limited to use in your own business. They apply to a plethora of business career paths, ensuring you’re job-ready from day one.
The course focuses on analysing and interpreting data and how to incorporate this useful and current skill into a small to medium business. You’ll learn to develop and implement a business strategy and explore a range of online collaborative platforms (such as Trello and Miro).
Learning in a hands-on environment, you’ll build skills valued in any business, such as developing business plans, managing resources, e-commerce, and handling funds and budgets. You’ll also explore end-to-end project management by working on a real-life project.
Swinburne maintains strong industry connections, so course content is always current, relevant and meaningful.
After graduating, you’ll have the tools and skills to run your own business, or follow a career path to an executive officer, retail manager, team leader, or business manager. You can also progress into the Swinburne Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Accounting with recognised credit.
