Overview

The central theme of this study tour is to explore sustainable engineering design and architecture across Malaysia. Over a period of 16 days, you will join a team of up to 20 Engineering students and attend seminars and workshops at engineering design centres and visit traditional and award-winning iconic architectural and cultural sites in Malaysia. The tour will enhance your experiential learning, and develop your appreciation for sustainable engineering design and architecture.

The study tour aims to explore the application of “Sustainable Engineering Design principles” across many industries in Malaysia and evaluate the transition to cleaner, greener businesses to deliver relevant products and services that map to modern consumer lifestyles. This involves evaluating the applications of the of elements of environmental sustainability and low carbon footprint principles and how they are being embedded in engineering design, manufacturing, and construction.  The tour also aims to explore architectural design and its evolution in Malaysia.

Eligibility

To qualify for this program, you must:

  • Be enrolled in an Undergraduate Engineering degree
  • Have completed at least 150 credit points in your course

Funding your overseas jounrey may be easier than you think

OS-HELP Loan

Eligible Australian students can apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of either A$5,065 or A$10,130 to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
