Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Describe mechanisms of different neuroimaging techniques
  • Identify which neuroimaging techniques are appropriate for various neurobiological and cognitive assessments
  • Evaluate key strengths and limitations of various neuroimaging techniques for research and clinical applications
  • Critically engage with research and health-related neuroimaging literature
  • Design an experimental protocol involving both behavioural and neuroimaging approaches to investigate a research question in cognitive neuroscience
