Overview
This unit will help students understand core management functions and how they can be used to create effective and efficient organisations. Students will be introduced to contemporary approaches to managing work in organisations, providing a basic understanding of how to plan, organise, lead and control. Students will improve their skills in planning, organising, leading and controlling, along with reflective practice and critical thinking. They will learn how to use these management functions and skills to respond to organisational challenges.
