Overview

This unit aims to equip students with the ability to strategically identify, frame, and respond to business challenges through AI-enabled solutions. It uses a design thinking approach to foster empathy-driven innovation, creative problem-solving, and iterative solution development. The unit strengthens student’s ability to develop and communicate AI solutions that deliver business value, ensuring students are well-prepared for industry consulting roles. The unit is designed to enhance autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to articulate business value in AI driven business innovation.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  1. Critically evaluate business challenges and frame them as opportunities for AI-based innovation
  2. Assess the strategic, ethical, and governance implications of AI solutions in the selected business context, with a focus on business value creation and responsible deployment
  3. Develop a compelling, actionable strategic business proposal, justifying the integration of AI tools and methods to address business challenges
  4. Communicate the business value and impact of AI-driven solutions to business stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, using appropriate professional communication mediums
  5. Collaborate effectively in teams and critically reflect on personal and team learning regarding the integration of AI into business practice and the consulting process
