Overview
In this unit students will be introduced to the concepts and production strategies associated with the making of a web series for an online platform. Workshops, delivered on a week-by-week basis, are designed to progressively build knowledge and practical skills related to writing, planning, capturing, editing of episodic and/or serialised narratives for online delivery.

Unit learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Apply pre-production strategies and techniques specific to a web series
- Analyse, interpret and evaluate short form episodic and serialised digital media content
- Apply knowledge of audio and video production theory, tools and techniques
- Edit video and audio in a digital software environment
- Create and publish media content for online platforms
- Analyse the synergies between Screen Production theory and practice
