Innovative Finance 2.0: Blockchain, Quantum, and Cyber Security
Overview
This unit will develop students’ knowledge and skills in the managing, utilizing and leveraging of information technologies to support daily operations in financial institutions and capital markets. This subject provides students with an understanding of Blockchain, quantum computing and cybersecurity as emerging technologies and how they will potentially affect the delivery of financial services, the potential implications for capital markets, incumbent financial services providers and those seeking to disrupt them.

- Apply coherent and advanced knowledge of the impact of emerging technologies on financial services and capital markets.

- Research and critically evaluate the role of emerging technologies and other technological artefacts in financial services and capital markets.
