Overview

This unit will build on earlier studies of nutrition assessment and diagnosis and food systems to develop competencies in client-centred medical nutrition therapy. Case based learning is used to apply the nutrition care process to the dietetic management of a range of chronic conditions including weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and a selection of common acute care case scenarios.
