Overview

This unit introduces students to enterprise systems management. The unit provides an overview of the global, social and economic imperatives for enterprise information management and addresses the strategic and managerial issues faced by organisations as they manage the virtual value chain. Topics covered include enterprise systems infrastructure, data integration and operations management, extended supply chain management and the design and development of enterprise systems solutions for modern medium to large organisations.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
