Overview

The unit offers a holistic and conceptual understanding of the drivers of organisational performance across non-financial and financial domains. It discusses theories and assumptions about motivation that underpin notions of effective performance. In particular, students will learn how one might leverage Performance Management Systems (PMS) to spur innovation. Students will also analyse case studies to explore the link amongst PMS, innovation, and other HR systems such as Training and Development and Reward Systems.
