Overview

In this unit, students will propose ‘Blue Sky’ ideas that will revolutionise our Aviation industries’ future. They will engage with a community or industry partner to develop a project that addresses some of our global economic, social and environmental challenges. Throughout the unit, students will learn how to work together in a team, ideate, problem solve, and be creative while communicating their ideas in an engaging way to a stakeholder.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Propose, through creative decision-making processes, an innovative Blue Sky idea to revolutionise the Aviation industries
  • Evaluate Blue Sky idea, considering the commercial viability and environmental impacts towards sustainability
  • Communicate their idea effectively to a stakeholder using verbal, visual and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate fair and accountable teamwork skills to include all team members and complete a project to meet agreed project milestones
  • Identify career goals and write a professional purpose statement aligned with their career identity
