Overview

This unit will introduce students to essential techniques for developing and pitching short animated films. Students will learn best-practice methods for merging creative practice with business, and will discover how to sell ideas through the construction of compelling presentations and robust documentation. This unit also aims to enhance students’ understanding of key crew-roles and responsibilities via independent and collaborative planning, development and pitching of a major animation project. Successful pitches will commence production in the following semester.
