Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) 

This course is designed to teach participants the basic skills and knowledge required to safely weld a wide range of metals using the three welding processes.

The course is specifically focused on students that have little or no welding experience who wish to gain some basic welding expertise.

This course is taught by industry professionals with current trade experience ensuring you are exposed to the most relevant welding methods being used by trades people in industry.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation as this is a non-accredited course.

Students will be required to wear the correct Personal Protective attire; cotton long sleeve overalls, work boots and clear safety glasses.

This course is offered during the night or on a Saturday.

The night classes will run for two consecutive weeks Wednesday and Thursday night from 5.30 pm – 9.00 pm.

The Saturday course will run for two consecutive weeks from 8:30am - 4:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break.  Tea and coffee provided.
