ACCELERATE INTO A LEGAL CAREER

Students in the final year of their Swinburne LLB can enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, offered by the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. This dual award provides the requisite training to practice law and cuts months off the time it takes to become a lawyer.
I love that I'm not just a number to my teachers and peers. I've completed my first work placement and my experience was fantastic. By the end of the internship I was able to draft legal documents.

From the first week I was tasked with transforming a crash course in law into a coherent argument and it was a fantastic experience. It’s fun being able to relate your course to the everyday world – Swinburne focuses more on industry experience than any other university.
