Guaranteed Entry ATAR vs adjusted ATAR

Guaranteed Entry ATAR: If you achieve the Guaranteed Entry ATAR for a course and meet any other eligibility requirements, you’ll be guaranteed an offer. Check the entry requirements for your course to see the lowest ATAR/selection rank that was admitted to the course last year as a guide.

Adjusted ATAR: Did you know you could still be offered a place, even if you haven't met the Guaranteed Entry ATAR? We use your adjusted ATAR (selection rank) when determining if you have reached the Guaranteed Entry ATAR. Your selection rank may be adjusted based on factors like equity schemes and subject bonuses:

• Equity schemes: If certain circumstances have impacted your study, you can apply for equity schemes through VTAC. Equity schemes can lift your adjusted ATAR (selection rank).

• Subject bonuses: Achieving a particular study score in certain subjects can increase your selection rank (adjusted ATAR) for specific courses.
