Swinburne has a range of scholarships awarded to students who go over and above, or need a helping hand financing their studies.
Our academic Vice-Chancellor's Excellence Scholarships are awarded to those who achieve an ATAR of 95 or higher - you do not need to include these in your VTAC preferences. (Conditions apply).
Our new professional degrees cover the standard requirements of a bachelor degree and also include a guaranteed paid 12-month work placement. These degrees offer high-achieving students an invaluable opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical environment.
Our degrees are structured so that your study options are your choice – should your preferences or career aspirations evolve, you can easily change your major or choose study options in different specialisations. You'll also have access to Swinburne's Work Integrated Learning opportunities.
Please note: The majority of 2020 ATARs shown below are Guaranteed Entry ATARs. The only exceptions are for the Bachelor of Film and Television (Honours), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary), Bachelor of Education (Primary), and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) – including double degrees of these courses – which show a Minimum Entry ATAR.
UniLink diplomas give you an alternative pathway to the second year of a bachelor degree. The units are similar to those offered in the first year of a bachelor degree, but classes are smaller and students have more one-on-one time with teachers.
Our diplomas and certificates have work-based elements, which can include work placements and projects, and workplace scenarios and simulations. You'll get job-ready while you study. Completing a diploma or certificate can also provide opportunities to progress to a related bachelor degree.
Swinburne also offers diplomas and certificates in this study area.
