Innovation and Design
Innovative business strategies begin with using the power of design thinking.
We believe design is an enabler for innovation, along with social, cultural and economic transformation. That’s why we offer innovation and design courses at Swinburne.
Innovation and design courses are an opportunity to learn how to implement progressive work and design thinking in a business context. We explore how using design within an organisation is central to a successful business strategy. You’ll also learn how to integrate design-led strategies into businesses, government agencies, social enterprise and communities. Design management and strategy, systems and complexity thinking, and futures forecasting are additional skills we provide: It’s just a matter of choosing the course that suits the future you can picture.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have the confidence and skills to apply your knowledge to the workplace. Future careers can be found in research and development, new product development, starting your own business or working in a business development team.
