NilAims and objectives
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Critically analyse and discuss an issue specific to the investigation and production of image and video for news and information media industries.
2. Design and implement a video journalism project in a systematic, rigorous and ethical way, with subsequent evaluation and critical reflection of the work process.
3. Identify and apply digital and online media production processes to create video products with a high level of personal and professional accountability.
4. Apply an advanced understanding of theoretical concepts around news audiences, production and narrative to create and communicate a large scale video project.
