Aims and objectives
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Articulate and apply an understanding of formative publishing conventions.
2. Produce a design proposal that analyses and clearly communicates research and design intent.
3. Critically apply sophisticated typographic, visual form, and structural relationships to resolve visual communication problems
4. Construct innovative grid systems and advanced design techniques for use in complex publication design projects
5. Apply narrative, sequential and spatial manipulation in design for the communication of visual and textual information
6. Create a complex publication demonstrating a sustainable approach to design
7. Develop an advanced, creative and professional quality publication document.
