Prerequisites
Aims and objectives
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Formulate the role of distal, proximal, individual and contextual factors for a wide range of different problem behaviours
2. Assess the contributory role of different risk factors in different types of problem behaviour, based on an understanding of relevant empirical research
3. Apply the problem behaviour framework to individual cases to guide the development of appropriate treatment and management plans for sexual offenders, stalkers and abnormal complainants
