Aims and objectives
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Discuss the evolution of violence risk assessment approaches
2. Formulate and elaborate on the benefits and controversies associated with violence risk assessment.
3. Assess criminogenic factors and determine their relevance to risk assessment
4. Appraise risk factors associated with self-harm and suicide
