Aims and objectives

This unit exposes students to real-world health science problems and for students to develop and refine the skills necessary to work in the multi-disciplinary health field. Students will work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams on industry-linked projects, by applying their own discipline-specific knowledge acquired in their degree and by using sound research principles.
 
Unit Learning Outcomes students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Apply discipline specific knowledge to a real-world scenario.
2. Design a feasible and innovative solution/outcome in response to a predetermined health science problem/project brief by working in a multi-disciplinary team.
3. Justify the solution/project outcome by synthesizing a wide-body of health science literature and relevant information.
4. Recommend an implementation strategy for this solution/project outcome to a wide health science audience.
