Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
1. Assess a secure network access strategy
2. Configure advanced IP address management using DHCP and DNS
3. Troubleshoot network access
4. Appraise Windows Server deployment and migration strategies
5. Manage Server role requirements
6. Manage Server and Data Security
7. Appraise a policy strategy within an Active Directory infrastructure

(i) An aggregate mark of 50% or more, and
(ii) At least 40% in the final exam, and
(iii) A Pass grade in the Skills Exam. The criteria for passing the Skills Exam is available in the Unit Outline.
Students who do not successfully achieve hurdle requirements (ii) and (iii) will receive a maximum of 44% as the total mark for the unit and will not be eligible for a conceded pass.
