Learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Generate and/ or associate nD BIM models and Digital Twins for planning and managing building and civil infrastructure works
- Apply location-based management with 3D models and Digital Twins to optimise of earthwork mass hauls and operations in transport infrastructure projects
- Use Digital Twins and/ or virtual reality/ mixed reality applications for risk analysis and value creation/ management
- Appraise constructability and maintainability aspects and review sustainability measures in construction and infrastructure management
- Employ and evaluate Digital Twins and digital technologies for sustainable operation and maintenance of constructed buildings and infrastructure assets
